Did you know senior pets suffer from pain and discomfort caused by Osteoarthritis? Even our slight weather changes can make it difficult for them to get around. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disease that affects people as well as dogs. OA can be as painful for our dogs as it is for us. In healthy joints, a slippery tissue called cartilage cushions the ends of the bones in the joints. With OA, cartilage breaks down, causing pain and swelling. As OA gets worse, bone spurs can form, causing more pain and joint damage. When this happens, your dog may become less active or show signs of stiffness when getting up. However, OA can be difficult to recognize, and your dog may not show any signs of OA. That’s why it’s important to talk to your veterinarian today about keeping your dog active and youthful. The earlier you start the better chance you have of bringing out the puppy inside him.

Clean, organized, professional and very welcoming! -Judy

Thank you for removing the mass from the front leg of our dog “Fannie”. You did an amazing job and are continuing with excellent follow-up care during the healing period! – Rick

They have friendly staff who you can tell love what they do. I like that they do follow up calls to check on my fur baby. – Katie

Great service! They love pets and take very good care of our kitty (Pepe le pew) and puppy (Mapu). Highly recommended!!! – Claudia

Bear went in for dental surgery, the staff greeted her like family, and when we left, I was very well informed on her aftercare and procedure findings. – Mark

Walkin, new patient. Glad I remembered to try your office while driving from Enchanted Oaks, no appointment, to Veterinary Medical Center of Spring, old vet. Arlo was suffering from an allergic reaction to a flea attack but was sleeping soundly by end of day. Thanks. – Harry
